About Me

About Me

Yeap! That's Me. You're probably wondering how I ended up in this situation. So am I! Let's begin from the Beginning, shall we?
My name is Someet Ramay! I am a Quarter-Hundred-Year-Old Graphic Designer. The Description of my age is to make me sound Super Mature and experienced. Today I can proudly call myself a Graphic Designer, but my Journey started many, many years ago...
When I was a little kid, I found myself fond of two things in particular: Stories and Visuals. I was always drawn to comic-book characters, animations, and art-centric content for as long as I can remember.
Those stories ignited my Passion for imitating and replicating the content I consumed. Wanting to be part of a Greater Story drove me to lengths, like celebrating my 10th Birthday dressed up as Spider-Man.
As my Passion Grew, I realized that I didn't just want to imitate the stories but I wanted to tell them. I felt like Creating on my Own, so I started. I began with Sketching, Penning, Doodling, Crafting. I did anything I got my hands on!
It felt like I had found my Calling. The kid who fell in love with Visual Storytelling had found his way into the realm of Infinite Possibilities. And as I grew up, the Pen and the Pencil started to feel limited in visual expression. So I decided to upgrade my weapons of mass-creation. Hence, I entered the world of Graphics
Once I had my hands on Design Tools, there was no stopping me. I could tell stories without limitations. I could visualize any idea, any thought, any story that crossed my mind. I became obsessed with Mastering the Art of Graphic Design.
As I grew older, I dove deeper into the tools and formats of Design. Learnt every Design tool I could get my hands on. Pushed my way into the field professionally. Doing what I love. Hobbies, Gigs, Handful of Full-time jobs; just Exploring Possibilities. I had found my Direction in Life. Graphic and Design felt like what I was born to do.
As a Professional Graphic Designer, I continued to pursue my first love for Visual Storytelling. I had come a long way. My passion was still fresh, but my skills, my experience, my arsenal, and my understanding of the medium had grown a lot with me. At some point in moving forward in the field, I came across the art of Visual Identity Design. And instantly I knew that this is exactly what I was moving towards all this time. Telling Stories of Real People in the Real World!
Imagine the joy of my inner child when I realized that there are real people out there who are trying to build lives. People who are trying to make a difference. People trying to impact the world with their Unique Ideas. And they have Great Stories to be told. Stories that I have the skills to tell. The skills I have learnt my whole life have led me to the Opportunity to help tell Stories of these People. Great Ideas that need Visualizing. Ideas that need to be seen and recognized. I realized that playing a part in uniquely telling these extraordinary stories might be My Story to tell after all.
That Realization paved the path for the creation of Design Deity. A Chapter of my story, created to tell Your Stories. Every Story matters. Every story deserves a unique visual telling. And I would love nothing more than to help you tell yours!
